Comic Adaptation
The story of Prom Hell has gone through many iterations, but it has always been about Irene's self-image and her insecurities.
Under the guidance of comic artist, Gary Barker, I solidified the story line while writing this comic.
During my previous pitches of Prom Hell, it came to my attention that some advisors did not understand why two women would be in a romantic relationship together, but that isn't the focus of my story. Anyone regardless of gender or sexuality can be insecure about their self-image and I wanted this to reflect my personal experience.
